35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu

35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu is an interesting Telugu movie soon to be released which is a family drama directed by Nanda Kishore Emani who is making his debut.

Music is by Vivek Sagar and Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer. From names like Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarabolu, Siddharth Rallapalli and other known industry names behind Suresh Productions, S Originals, Waltair Productions the film will be released in theatrical class on 6th September 2024.

Plot

The film dwells upon the issue of family bonds with an emphasis on familial relationships which help in understanding the basic needs of the family structure.

The film revolves around three central characters – Niketh U Kainth, the relatively inexperienced Nivetha Thomas, and of course Priyadarshi – which represent three generations of one family.

Characters

Nivetha Thomas’s character Helavaine Kavya Baltar aka Kavya is an idealistic daughter who exclusively believes in family values. Raghava’s character is particularly the source of comic relief in the movie with the aid of his dialogue delivery and light hearted character.

VishwaDev Rachakonda adds dimension to the character of Surya, who happens to be Kayva’s elder brother. Gautami depicts Janaki, the head of the family’s women. This is a character that has knowledge, self-control and temper, and is overall ideal for the family.

Bhagyaraj is the actor playing the role of Rangaiah who is the head of the family. He is quite authoritative and is advanced in age and still tries to stick to ancient customs.

Direction and Cinematography

Nanda Kishore Emani, the director, who has decided to make motion pictures for the first time, something that touches everyone in one way or the other. Most Indian films have either romance, or family drama, or both.

When Emani observes the family relationships and aspects providing the drama which is taken from same node, he understands everything about the film well. It is the way he maintains the heartfelt scenes in between the humorous ones.

Niketh Bommi has also contributed to the overall look of the movie with his various adept movements. The colors and the setting that Bommi chooses and incorporates in the film reflects the warmth of the south indian family.

Vivek Sagar, who had impressed with Brochevarevarura and Pelli Choopulu is behind the score of 35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu. The use of background score in movies is vital since it prepares the audience for the action on screen, so does the rest of the score, making for the easy and heavy scenes.
