Plot
The main lead Vikram (Dev Gill), a man who plays a police officer in the movie is a cop who has no mercy over criminals and is motiveless to kill when required. The plot commences with Vikram and a not very challenging search for a missing person, which is normal and rather mundane.
Cast and Performances
The portrayal of the characters is in every way outstanding. Each actor has managed to perform so well. Dev Gill appears in the guise of Vikram and plays a role of a steadfast and ruthless policeman successfully.
Vikram’s strong, unrelenting obsession for justice was inspiring, to say the least. Asura, played by Sayaji Shinde, is quite scary and exudes pure evil. Asura himself is terrifying insuring that Vikram has a tough enemy to conquer.
Chitra Shukla is an important supporting character as well in the movie and therefore is an asset to the plot. Such character eases the tautness of the Vikram character and offers him emotional ecstasy as well as moral support.
Characters in the movie blend well with one another and this enhances how the story is portrayed.
Technical Aspects of Aho Vikramaarka
The narrative is well executed, with neat and clean direction from Peta Trikoti. The movie maintains a steady rhythm with just the right amount of action, drama and suspense. The unfolding of the story has an outline that is wholly centralized on the director’s imagination.
Tammiraju’s editing work garners good credence as they ensure that the pace of the movie does not drop. The scenes flow evenly within each other and the action proceeds in a very consecutive manner. Editing also helps to create suspense in some parts of the movie, especially during fights.
Talking about the cinematography in “Aho Vikramaarka”, it is impressive to say the least. The film is offcourse characteristic horse drama action, but dark and gritty tone however adds some wonder to the story.
The atmospheric effects are further enhanced by the proper use of light and angle of the camera. The action part is also good, with real impressive camera work, which helps to feel the gravity of the battles.
Review
The sensibilities of the film, ‘Aho Vikramaarka’ are quite understandable. It is a well-structured heated action thriller that will not allow the viewer to relax from the first till the last minute. The film meets the criteria, in respect of solid actor act, the story development and the action sequences.
The quest of Vikram in the film, who fights justice against the evil like ancestor is equally interesting and insightful. The subjects covered in the movie and the portrayal of the lead character who would go to every length to stop lawbreakers in their tracks would attract fans of such types of film.
