Plot
Bastar: The Naxal Story was based on real life events occurring around Naxalism in Chhattisgarh state. Decades ago, it has been known that left-wing extremism with armed Maoist struggle is violent in the region, with a significant threat to the national security and stability.
It also examines the shift in meaning over the years since according to them, the meaning of something is different to different people with reference to their perception of the past and the society. Situation movie will give bigger details on the complexity of heart of war by elaborating what constitutes it.
Therefore making the people understand more about what the people trapped in the crossfire between the rebels and the government are experiencing.
Cast
Indira Tiwari also does a spectacular job as she look like dying in her role of playing a tribal woman on screen that affects the hearts of the audience with her emotional performance. Her character poses a revelation of how minority communities against whom wars, such as this one, are fought go through so much trouble yet they endure through all these.
In such a way, the feelings that induce one to feel involved emotionally as part of the process also experience pain along with them. Vijay Krishna, who plays the role of Lanka Reddy, plays his part well too. It leaves one to wonder what is in store the next moment despite the predictability of the character because of his violent style of doing things.
The ability to speak two languages makes this character more real. Raima Sen and Shilpa Shukla and Yashpal Sharma were also quite good at their part as they played their parts with less and full devotion.
Review
A hardcore crime drama disguised as a movie that explores complex concepts, Bastar: The Naxal Story has an element of rawness to it. The multifold approach of BASTAR draws a graphic image of the conflict of Naxalism in terms of depicting the socio-economic imbalances as the driving factor behind the same up to the question of moral predicament in law enforcement agencies.
The movie is provocative and also has a lot of dramatic scenes that make the viewers face the truth around life in such violent areas. The film does not even leave a single moment to look back on how bloody naxal insurgencies may get and therefore getting its audiences completely in the world of Bastar.
There are scenes indeed that become utterly shattering in the minds of the audience in the film Bastar: The Naxal Story. On various occasions, the movie turns exciting and provokes viewers once again.
