Leo is an eagerly anticipated Indian Tamil-language action thriller film making waves, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with collaboration from Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy on its screenplay.

As part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, “Leo” showcases Lokesh’s unique storytelling style; production was overseen by S. S. Lalit Kumar from Seven Screen Studio while Jagadish Palanisamy served as co-producer.

Story

Vijay, one of Tamil film industry’s beloved actors, stars as its lead character and is joined by talented performers Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin; all playing pivotal characters within its story.

“Leo” began its journey when it was officially announced in January 2023 with a working title of “Thalapathy 67,” marking Vijay’s 67th appearance as lead actor. Shortly afterwards, however, its final title was revealed causing even greater excitement among its audiences.

Review

Filming began the following month in Chennai as one of the primary shooting locations; some crucial scenes were also captured in Kashmir to add visual depth. The production team conducted multiple schedules to ensure they captured all aspects of the story effectively; by mid-July they had completed filming successfully.

An integral component of a movie’s overall effect is its music. Anirudh Ravichander composed this original score, setting an emotionally compelling and intense atmosphere throughout. Manoj Paramahamsa expertly brought Manoj Santhanam’s vision for cinematography alive; Philomin Raj completed editing the film for an engaging viewing experience.
